Creating a Coordinated National Network for Education, Awareness, & Workforce Development
America’s Gold Standard for Employer-Aligned Microelectronics Curriculum and Training
The National Network for Microelectronics Education (NNME) is setting America’s gold standard for workforce development in microelectronics. Our mission is clear: to deliver employer-aligned curriculum and modern, work-based learning that prepares all Americans for high-quality careers that advance U.S. innovation and prosperity.
SEMI Foundation: Leading as Hub Operator
The SEMI Foundation is proud to serve as the Hub Operator for NNME. In this role, we guide and connect Regional Nodes across the country, ensuring their local programs add up to a powerful, cohesive national strategy. Our charge is to make sure every Node has the tools, expertise, and shared infrastructure needed to deliver real results for learners, employers, and communities.
With our support, Regional Nodes are able to:
Launch and operate with confidence
Build and validate high-quality, industry-aligned training programs
Recruit and prepare a diverse, skilled workforce
Track meaningful outcomes like learner readiness, job placement, career growth, and employer satisfaction
These benchmarks form the foundation of NNME’s gold-standard approach to workforce development.
