Curate Online Resources
Build and validate high-quality, industry-aligned training programs
Strengthen Regional Partnerships
Recruit and prepare a diverse, skilled workforce
Cultivate Collaboration & Innovation
Track meaningful outcomes like learner readiness, job placement, career growth, and employer satisfaction

These benchmarks form the foundation of NNME’s gold-standard approach to workforce development.

Our Vision

How We Support the Network

The SEMI Foundation provides Hub support in three key areas that empower Regional Nodes to thrive while contributing to a unified national strategy.

1. Targeted Technical Assistance

We deliver the expertise and hands-on guidance that accelerate Node success, including:

  • Strong Regional Leadership

Tools, templates, and clinics to help build inclusive, collaborative governance.

  • Modernized Curriculum

Access to experts, rubrics, and curated modules that ensure training reflects real industry needs.

  • Data & Continuous Improvement

Clear metrics, dashboards, and learning sessions to drive accountability and real-time adaptation.

  • Employer Engagement

Playbooks and matchmaking workshops that connect training to real jobs and long-term employer support.

  • Youth Outreach

Campaign toolkits and event guides to inspire the next generation of innovators.

2. Shared Digital Infrastructure

We maintain national, cloud-based systems that allow consistency and collaboration across the Network:

  • Learning Content Management System (LCMS)

A hub for storing, sharing, and adapting curricula.

  • AI-Powered Career Navigation

Personalized tools to help learners explore pathways and training options.

  • Employer Matching Tools

Connecting learners directly with opportunities while tracking placement success.

  • Data & Reporting Portal

A unified system for measuring progress and ensuring accountability.

3. Learning Community, National Events, & Awareness Campaigns

We strengthen the Network by creating spaces for collaboration, innovation, and visibility:

  • National Industry Awareness Campaigns that elevate microelectronics as a career of choice and build visibility for the industry across the U.S.

  • Monthly Communities of Practice where peers share strategies and solutions.
  • An Annual NNME Convening that brings together employers, educators, and policymakers.
  • Peer Exchanges through site visits and virtual experiences.
  • Annual Reports that showcase success stories and lessons learned across the Network.
